Bilbao has been photographing "beautiful people" since the age of 18 when he covered rock bands such as Incubus, 311, Sugar Ray, and Carlos Ponce.
Matias Bilbao, 29, a native of Caracas, Venezuela, studied biology and photography at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and is currently a freelance photographer and digital artist in Miami. The camera and a fascination with digital imaging won the young artist's dedication. But it's clear that his biology studies were not in vain - as evidenced by the subjects of his lens.
Cowboys, fashion models, boxers, rock stars, the unknown faces of many cultures - all have been caught in the passion of Bilbao's talent and have been caught in his commitment to transmit the soul of his subjects onto film.
The photographer finds time to teach his craft in both traditional and digital photography to emerging creative professionals at the Miami Ad School on Miami Beach. And, to occupy the down time in Bilbao's life, there's an exciting new project underway called "Yellowcase". This project is designed to train digital artists and professional photographers in digital imaging techniques and color management technologies, allowing the color that is produced by a computer's printer to match the monitor perfectly. The company services digital labs that are rapidly growing in popularity as well as small design firms.

"Out of many, one people" is the native motto of André Chung's parents. Born of Jamaican heritage in the late '60's, an explosive and pivotal time, André was the first of his family to be born in the U.S. He has since based his life on a balance of relationships, which he now explores through his photography. His relationship with the camera started at the University of Maryland, when he began photographing his girlfriend. This relationship proved serendipitous. The girlfriend became his wife, the camera --- his career.
With 20 years of experience as a photojournalist, André started his newspaper career at the Chicago Sun-Times, and then moved on to the Baltimore Sun, where he spent over a dozen years working on stories about our most marginalized citizens and how they navigate a difficult world. His work has won many awards including the George Polk Award in 1999, the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award in 2000, and the Sigma Delta Chi Award in 2005. The Baltimore Sun nominated his work for the Pulitzer Prize on five separate occasions. A founding member of the Iris PhotoCollective, André now works on the stories that are close to his heart.

Magic. Everyone has something. My goal, as a photographer, is to reveal the magic inside every subject - a person, a place, a thing. Whether it's obvious or hidden, i will reveal it, and hopefully tell a compelling story in doing so. In a culture so obsessed with, and consumed by IMAGE, I prefer to dig a little deeper and provoke IMAGINATION.
Maria Lankina is one of today's strongest emerging photographers. Having burst onto the scene in 2006, she's already been hailed by critics for her vibrant passion and unique artistic sensibility. Lankina's photographs evoke a wide range of emotions and blur the line between the commercial and the artistic. Forward, rebellious, and fiery, there is little separating the artist from her craft. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Lankina traveled extensively around the world-from Egypt to the Phiippines, to England, Hawaii, New York, and back. The lead in her own cutting - edge rock band, an actress ins several films, a modern dancer, and a fashion styling student at St. Martins, this former model's creative vision knows no bounds. Most recently Maria Lankina has studied art direction at the award winning Miami Ad School and has applied her talents wholly to the art of photography and art direction. She lives and works in Miami Beach, travelling frequently to New York and Europe for work, and loving always her 12 year old daughter Angelika, the other passion in her life. There is magic everywhere - sometimes it's hidden, sometimes it's obvious, whenever possible Maria captures, if not creates it.

“Photography comes naturally to me. My mother was an artist and my father was a photographer for 40 years so I was always around creativity. I grew up in the comfort of darkrooms and studios, and some of my first toys were wooden cameras. Initially, I wasn't terribly interested in photography and didn't pay much attention to it but, 15 years ago I fell deeply in love with the medium and I haven't looked back.
At age 19, I moved to Europe to see the world and explore where my photography could take me. With $700 in cash and a backpack of ambition I jumped on a UK-bound plane. In Amsterdam, I quickly made friends with Rudolph Becker, a Fashion Photographer, who showed me the ins and outs of the business and after a few months - I was hooked. I knocked on modeling agency doors until I was hired as a test photographer and the rest, as they say - is history.
I have had the pleasure of working with professional entities including Fashion T.V., Elite Model Management, Runways The Talent Group, ADT, The U.S. Dept. of Navy, SiTV, Mercedes Benz, Victoria's Secret, Warner Bros., The Friars Club, Venue Magazine and The Versace House, among many others.
I created Red1 Studios with the knowledge of what it takes to be creative; internally and externally. It's the perfect place to develop your creative genius and explore & execute your photographic visions.
I crave meeting and working with new creative professionals everyday, to exchange new ideas, new concepts and exciting new images, both in the studio and on location.
I look forward to meeting and working with you, and hope that you'll make Red1 Studios your production choice for your next project.
